Un-heated Molding Cog
Steigen Carving is the latest design as an unheated molding cog showing remarkable tensile strength and less irritation under the skin. The arrowhead-like shape(2D) of the cog is excellent in fixation and tightening of the skin which allows more dramatic contouring results. As a bi-directional original type, the application is for the overall facial line from temple to mid-face and mandible to ear.

CARVING COG
Steigen Carving is shaped by the sculpting out method unlike with molding process which undergoes pressure and heat treatment that possibly leads to thermal denaturation affecting material solidity and tensile strength. The design is an arrowhead-like shape(2D) with optimal size and degree to fix skin tissue but giving less irritation. Not only the fixation capacity of the thread but the patient’s discomfort under the skin in post-treatment is heavily affected by cog design.
CARVING PLCL
PLCL (poly L-lactic-co-e-caprolactone) is the most advanced copolymer of blended PLA & PCL to get the best of both materials having excellent collagenesis effect and flexibility. Under the skin, partial biodegradation with the collagenesis process begins after 3 months and is entirely replaced by newly formed collagen within 24 months.
